You will see some of these benefits in a matter of days to weeks and others take a few months to get the full benefit. Typically, within the first few weeks, you should experience improved sleep, stamina and energy. Full effects such as fat loss and improved muscle mass are normally seen by month 3 and these benefits continue while taking Sermorelin. Human growth hormone (HGH) therapy with Sermorelin is a long-term strategy. The longer you stick with it, the better the results!
While Sermorelin is generally considered safe, like any medication or treatment, it can have potential side effects. Some possible side effects of Sermorelin may include:
- Injection Site Reactions: Pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site can occur.

- Nausea: Nausea is a less common side effect but has been reported in some cases.

Since Sermorelin is a peptide (think protein/amino acid structure), you are not able to swallow Sermorelin and therefore it must be injected. It is often injected once daily at bedtime with a small needle into the fat. Human growth hormone is primarily released during sleep and most beneficial to the body's recovery and repair during this time. Your doctor will provide you with a custom dose based on your age, weight and specific circumstances. It is also important to not eat anything for 2-3 hours before your injection since insulin (which is released after a meal) may counteract Sermorelin and interfere with your HGH release.
